Crowd Mics offers a distinctive approach to audience engagement by utilizing attendees’ smartphones or tablets as wireless microphones, thereby creating a more seamless and interactive event environment. This technology effectively eliminates the traditional need to pass a physical microphone around the room, fostering a more inclusive participation. Additionally, Crowd Mics enhances audience interaction through features such as text commenting and live polling, providing valuable avenues for real-time feedback.

The dedicated moderator application ensures comprehensive control over audience interactions, facilitating smooth and organized communication. Key functionalities include:

<li>Receiving notifications when participants wish to speak</li>
<li>Selecting from a list of pre-named speaker requests</li>
<li>Deactivating individual attendee microphones at any moment</li>
<li>Creating polls both prior to and during the event</li>
<li>Inviting the audience to participate in voting</li>
<li>Displaying live poll results on the room’s visual presentation system</li>
</ul>

The system relies on the ATOM device, a compact and pre-configured hardware unit designed for straightforward deployment. Its small form factor allows for flexible placement within the venue, requiring only connection to the existing AV setup and WiFi network to operate effectively.

Crowd Mics is well-suited for organizers and moderators managing presentations, lectures, panel discussions, or similar events with audiences of up to 1,000 participants, offering an enhanced interactive experience that can transform the dynamics of audience engagement.
